Put single or multi-mode optic fiber into loose tube made by high-module polyester material and fill tube with waterproof compound; core of cable is consisted of one metal strength core, PE may need to be painted on metal strength core for optic cables at certain cores; loose tube (and filler) shall be stranded with strength core into tight round cable core, cable core shall be filled with water-blocking fillers; APL shall be longitudinally folded and extruded into cable with polyethylene sheath. PSP shall be longitudinally folded and extruded into cable with outer sheath. Then, such cables shall be finally extruded into cable with polyethylene outer sheath after armoring with single or double small circle steel wire.

Following measures may be applied to maintain waterproof performance of optic cables:
-Single steel wire strengthen core
-Fill loose tube with special waterproof compound
-Fully fill cable core
-Good water blocking material prevents longitudinal water leakage on cables
-Paint PSP dampproof coat on both surfaces
-PSP improves penetration resistance property of cables
