GYFTZA non-metallic fire-retardant cable
Fiber count: 2～288 fibers
A number of single or multi-mode fibers are coated into loose tubes of high modulus polyester materials which are filled with moisture-proof compound; the center of the cable core is a non-metallic strength member. Loose tubes (and some fillers) are stranded together around this central strength member to form tight round cable core. All the interstices of cable core are filled with water blocking compound. The cable is completed with a layer of polyethylene sheath.
YD/T901-2009 loose tube stranded outdoor communication cable
Laying method: pipe, aerial
Scope of application: suitable for long distance communication and inter-agency communication
Precisely design and control fiber excess length to ensure excellent mechanical and temperature properties.
Strict control on process and raw materials ensures the stable operation of cables.
Loose tubes are filled with special filling compound to provide key protection for cables.
The structure of all section water blocking ensures excellent moisture-proof and water-blocking performance of cables.
High Young’s modulus glass fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) bars as central strength member.
The cable is of all dielectric (non-metallic) structure, of light weight and is easy to be laid. It has excellent capacity for resisting electromagnetic interference. It is suitable for the electrical power system and areas where lightning frequently occurs.
